Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in width overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent (Silver Gray), a mullet Or bearing two tomahawks saltirewise Sable and Argent (Silver Gray) superimposed by a quill palewise Gules. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed "DIAMOND IN THE ROCK" in Gold.

Symbolism
Silver gray and golden yellow are the colors traditionally associated with the Finance Corps. Gold signifies high achievement and excellence; red is for courage and zeal. Black in indicative of strength and solidity. The star denotes excellence and the crossed tomahawks represent military preparedness. The quill refers to the unit's support mission.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 22 March 1994.

From a wreath Or and Argent (Silver Gray), an eight-pointed compass rose Gules bearing a bezant voided by a lozenge fesswise all encircled by a wreath of laurel Proper tied with a riband Gules.
